HOW LONG DOES A COACHING RELATIONSHIP LAST?

It all depends on you.  People work at different paces, and have many different types of issues.  In addition, each of us has a different comfort level to know when we're "done".

You are not obligated for any specific amount of time, though I do ask that you make a 3 month commitment if we decide to work together.  That's because, often, the benefits of a coaching relationship begin to show most strongly at that time.  However, if you feel the need to stop prior to that time, there is no obligation to continue.

HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?

Sessions are 45 minutes, most often by phone.

WHAT IF I MISS A SESSION?

Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance.  1 missed session per 6 months allowed (without re-scheduling), in case of emergency.  No exceptions.

HOW ARE PAYMENTS STRUCTURED?

Monthly payments are due in advance of the upcoming month.  Single session payments are also requested up front.   You may pay online with a credit card, or mail a check.

HOW DOES COACHING DIFFER FROM THERAPY?

The annotated answer is that life coaching is more concerned with the here and now, and moving forward from here.  Life coaching does not go back into the past to heal old emotional wounds, though that might happen on some level.   Talking about the past is appropriate, particularly as it impacts on self-discovery and changing patterns.  However, there are no therapeutic modalities in place to heal the past.  The main focus is on moving forward.
